Eldor Journal cover: a chat bubble pointing to a ranked list of five alternatives, with the first highlighted

BiteSpeed is one of the best-known WhatsApp and AI marketing tools for ecommerce. It describes itself as an "AI-native marketing, sales and support OS for e-commerce", covering WhatsApp, AI voice, email, SMS and social. Brands look for alternatives for a few common reasons: pricing that is only shared after a demo, a need for AI that sells and supports in the conversation rather than running campaigns, or a smaller team that wants something simpler.

We compared five alternatives D2C teams weigh most often: Eldor, Wati, Spur, Gallabox and Interakt. Every detail comes from each company's own website and pricing page, checked in October 2026. Eldor is our product, so we kept the comparison to published facts and say plainly where another tool is the better fit. If anything has changed, email founders@eldor.ai and we will update this post.

Quick picks

  • Best for D2C brands that want AI to sell, support and recover carts: Eldor.

  • Best for a WhatsApp-first team inbox with broadcasts: Wati.

  • Best low-cost start across WhatsApp, Instagram and live chat: Spur.

  • Best for WhatsApp and Instagram AI agents with WhatsApp voice: Gallabox.

  • Best for trying a WhatsApp and Instagram inbox before you pay: Interakt, with a 14-day free trial.

  • Stay with BiteSpeed if your revenue runs on multi-channel marketing journeys across WhatsApp, AI voice, email, SMS and push.

Comparison table of BiteSpeed and five alternatives: Eldor, Wati, Spur, Gallabox and Interakt. It covers what each is built as, published starting price, AI in the conversation, cart recovery and channels.

How we compared them

We looked at six things that matter to a D2C brand moving off BiteSpeed:

  1. What it is built as. A marketing CRM, a WhatsApp inbox or an AI that sells and supports.

  2. Published pricing. Can you see the price before a sales call?

  3. AI in the conversation. Does the AI answer from your catalogue and orders, or follow flows you build?

  4. Cart recovery. Templates and flows, or a conversation that answers the doubt that stopped checkout?

  5. Channels. WhatsApp only, or Instagram, web chat and email too?

  6. How costs grow. Per user, per AI credit, per message or per store.

1. Eldor

Best for: D2C brands that want one AI to sell, support and recover carts across WhatsApp, Instagram, web chat and email, priced per store.

Eldor answers shoppers from the live catalogue, orders and policies, recommends products in the conversation and recovers carts on WhatsApp with a conversation rather than a coupon blast. It confirms COD orders and nudges them to prepaid, reports recovered revenue cart by cart, and hands over to your helpdesk with the full transcript when a human is needed. It is built for how India shops: WhatsApp first, Hinglish welcome and COD understood.

Eldor also does something no WhatsApp tool on this list does. It tracks how ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews describe your products every week and fixes the product data behind wrong answers, so shoppers who start in AI arrive with the right facts.

  • Pricing: Starter $149 a month and Growth $449 a month, per store, with AI conversations included. Indian brands are billed in rupees with GST invoices.

  • WhatsApp fees: Meta's template fees passed through at cost on the same invoice, or you connect your own Meta billing. No markup.

  • Fees that do not exist: no per-seat, per-resolution or setup fees, and no revenue share.

  • Channels: web chat and WhatsApp on Starter, all eight channels on Growth, including Instagram and email.

  • Keep in mind: Eldor is not a broadcast campaign tool first. If your main need is large scheduled WhatsApp blasts and segment journeys, a marketing CRM fits better. AI voice is an add-on on Growth.

2. Wati

Best for: teams that want a WhatsApp-first shared inbox with broadcasts, Shopify templates and published INR pricing.

Wati is a WhatsApp Business platform with a team inbox, broadcasts, automation triggers and AI agents it calls Astra. Its Shopify features include catalogue, abandoned cart and order templates.

  • Pricing: Growth ₹2,699, Pro ₹5,799 and Business ₹16,799 a month, billed quarterly.

  • What grows the bill: users (3 on Growth with no extras, then ₹1,299 or ₹2,199 per extra user a month), AI credits and automation triggers. The Shopify add-on is listed at $4.99 a month.

  • WhatsApp fees: charged separately by template type and country.

  • Keep in mind: AI agents and credits are capped by plan, so heavy AI use pushes you up a tier.

3. Spur

Best for: small D2C brands that want a low starting price across WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and live chat.

Spur bundles WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and live chat with AI agents and AI credits on every plan, and lists Shopify among its integrations.

  • Pricing: AI Acquire $12, AI Start $31, AI Accelerate $127 and AI Max $399 a month, with 20% off billed annually.

  • What grows the bill: AI credits (100 on AI Acquire up to 15,000 on AI Max) and channel numbers per plan.

  • WhatsApp fees: separate, from Spur's rate card. Instagram and Messenger have no message fees.

  • Keep in mind: the entry plan's 100 AI credits go quickly if AI handles most chats, and cart recovery is not described on the pricing page.

4. Gallabox

Best for: teams that want WhatsApp and Instagram AI agents, plus AI voice on WhatsApp and phone, on a mid-priced plan.

Gallabox offers chatbot flows and web AI agents on its Basic plan, adds AI agents on WhatsApp and Instagram on Essential, and adds AI voice on WhatsApp and phone on Advanced. Shopify is in its integration catalogue.

  • Pricing: Basic ₹2,999, Essential ₹6,999 and Advanced ₹16,999 a month billed quarterly, or ₹2,399, ₹5,599 and ₹13,599 billed annually.

  • What grows the bill: users (Basic is capped at 3), AI credits (500 to 8,000 a month) and voice minutes.

  • WhatsApp fees: billed separately. Enterprise lists a discounted markup.

  • Keep in mind: the WhatsApp and Instagram AI agents start on Essential, not Basic.

5. Interakt

Best for: brands that want a WhatsApp and Instagram inbox with AI agents and want to try it before paying.

Interakt describes itself as "a full-stack growth engine for marketing, sales, and support" on WhatsApp. It offers AI agents that answer queries and recommend products, a no-code chatbot builder, an omnichannel inbox for WhatsApp and Instagram and a Shopify voice AI agent.

  • Pricing: plans are listed on Interakt's site with a 14-day free trial and no credit card. Third-party listings disagree on the current prices, so check the pricing page before you compare.

  • WhatsApp fees: billed on top of the plan.

  • Keep in mind: confirm which AI features are in the plan you pick and which are add-ons.

When to stay with BiteSpeed

BiteSpeed is strongest as a marketing system. It has six AI marketing agents, an omnichannel journey builder, AI segmentation and RFM, AI voice agents for cart recovery, and channels that include SMS, RCS, email and push as well as WhatsApp and Instagram. It says it is trusted by more than 6,000 ecommerce brands in over 50 countries. If most of your WhatsApp revenue comes from campaigns and journeys across many channels, switching to an inbox tool will feel like a step back.

Side by side

  • Built as: BiteSpeed an AI marketing, sales and support OS; Eldor an AI that sells, supports and recovers, plus AI visibility; Wati, Gallabox and Interakt WhatsApp platforms with inboxes and AI agents; Spur a multi-channel inbox with AI agents.

  • Published pricing: Eldor from $149 a month per store; Wati from ₹2,699 a month; Spur from $12 a month; Gallabox from ₹2,399 a month billed annually; Interakt on its site with a free trial; BiteSpeed after a demo.

  • How costs grow: Eldor per store with conversations included; Wati and Gallabox by users, AI credits and tier; Spur by AI credits and tier; WhatsApp fees on top for all.

  • AI visibility in ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews: Eldor only.

Decision guide for choosing a BiteSpeed alternative: if campaigns and journeys drive revenue, stay with BiteSpeed; if you need a WhatsApp team inbox with broadcasts, Wati; if you want the lowest starting price, Spur; if you need WhatsApp voice AI, Gallabox; if you want AI that sells, supports and recovers carts priced per store, Eldor.

How to switch without losing revenue

  1. Export your opted-in contacts and approved templates. Opt-in records and template approvals belong to your WhatsApp Business account. Re-submit templates under the new provider if needed.

  2. Keep your number. A WhatsApp Business number can move between providers. Plan a short window and check the steps with the new provider first.

  3. Rebuild only the flows that earn. List every journey with its revenue over the last 90 days. Rebuild the top ones first and let the rest go.

  4. Run cart recovery side by side for two weeks on a split of traffic, so you compare recovered revenue, not opinions.

  5. Check what your shoppers see in AI. A switch is a good moment to fix the product facts ChatGPT and Google quote about you. The free Eldor AI audit shows where they are wrong.

How to choose

If campaigns and journeys across many channels drive your revenue, stay with BiteSpeed. If you want a WhatsApp inbox with broadcasts and clear INR pricing, look at Wati. If you are small and want the cheapest start, Spur. If you need WhatsApp voice AI, Gallabox. If you want one AI that answers from your catalogue, sells in the conversation, recovers carts and keeps your products accurate in ChatGPT and Google, priced per store with WhatsApp fees at cost, Eldor is built for that.

Which BiteSpeed alternative is best for Shopify brands in India?

For AI that sells, supports and recovers carts with COD confirmation and Hinglish, Eldor. For a WhatsApp inbox with broadcasts and INR pricing, Wati or Gallabox. All three work with Shopify.
